Thirteen People Injured in Boat Explosion in Fort Lauderdale

A boat with 21 people on board exploded just before 2 p.m. on Thursday while on the New River in Fort Lauderdale, injuring 13 of the occupants. Several explosions were reported. The passengers sustained injuries ranging from first to third degree burns. Seven people were transported to Broward Health, including two in critical condition.
