The Royal Gazette Online reports a Peruvian crew member on the NCL cruise ship Norwegian Sun was evacuated to Bermuda on April 25, 2011.

The reports a 57-year-old passenger was airlifted from the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) ship Norwegian Gem 28 miles east off Cape Hatteras.
At 12:45 p.m. on April 3rd the ship’s doctor radioed the Coast Guard reporting that an injured passenger was suffering from internal bleeding and requested he be airlifted off the vessel. Hurt Passenger Airlifted from Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas to Tampa General Hospital

March 30, 2011 Cruise Ship Injury & Death reports the Coast Guard evacuated passenger William Nicol, 76, from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Radiance of the Seas on March 20th.
A crewmember aboard the Radiance of the Seas radioed Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg requesting medical assistance for Nicol who was experienced hernia-like symptoms. Coast Guard News reports a 64 year old passenger aboard Princess Cruises’ ship Emerald Princess on March 16, 2011. The passenger began experienced breathing problems and was placed on a ventilator approximately 115 miles from Haiti. The Emerald Princess requested the Coast Guard medevac the passenger.
