Crew on Minor Sexual Assault/Molestation Claims
Very, very often, families travel on cruise ships. They entrust their minor children to certain lounges that are designated safe and quite frankly, advertised as being safe for minors. Sometimes, those areas are not as safe. Sometimes, adults can gain entrance. More particularly, sometimes, a crew member charged with the responsibility of overseeing the care of a minor over the period of days will build trust. That sense of 'stranger danger' is lost and the minor accepts the crew member as an authority figure.
In very unfortunate circumstances, the firm has been called upon to help a family in the case of their minor child having been sexually assaulted or molested aboard a cruise ship, something that we've handled and helped people with for nearly 30 years.
