Negligent Security is a subset of a premises liability case. It still concerns the property of another, but not the physicality of the property. It has to do with the actions of a third party who's on the property who causes the guest or the person staying at the property injury. In unfortunate circumstances, some property owners don't exercise a reasonable degree of care for their guests' safety.
They don't have the property properly fenced, they don't have property security measures, they don't have proper lighting, and crimes occur on the property. A property owner can be held liable if there's a history in the area, that means the risk of harm was foreseeable, and those are the types of things that should be looked into every single Negligent Security case.
