Four People Hospitalized Following Boat Collision Off Key Biscayne

Yesterday night, at approximately 7:22 p.m., two boats, one with seven abroad and the other with one, collided by Bear Cut Bridge.  It is reported four people were transported to the hospital: a woman with a leg injury, a man with an abdominal injury, a man with a leg injury, and another person with non-life-threatening injuries. A tragic boating accident on the Alafia River near Tampa took the life of young Jasina Campell. Campell of Riverview, Florida and her friend were tubing on May 17, 2020 enjoying a day of fun on the Alafia River. A boat with 21 people on board exploded just before 2 p.m. on Thursday while on the New River in Fort Lauderdale, injuring 13 of the occupants. Several explosions were reported. The passengers sustained injuries ranging from first to third degree burns. Seven people were transported to Broward Health, including two in critical condition.
