WMBB 13 reports Vicki Trickey, 50, of Wewahitchka, Christopher Goodwin, 28, of Southport and boat operator Richard Lancaster, 60, of Port St. Joe were able to swim to shore after hours in the water on December 27, 2010. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission theorize that their 20′ vessel hit a large wave and capsized. The fishermen were treated on-scene for hypothermia.
