The Miami slip and fall lawyers of BBR have been retained by a woman who slipped and fell at a North Miami Beach Walgreens Pharmacy. The accident happened between 9:00 and 9:30 pm when the woman turned a corner and slipped on an unreasonably slippery floor. After the fall, the woman noticed an employee in another aisle polishing the floor. No signs warning the customers of the slippery floor were erected near the accident scene. The woman sustained a knee injury and is seeking further medical care. Walgreens had the legal duty to warn customers of the slippery nature of the floor caused by their cleaning and/or cordon off the area until sufficiently dry.
