WSVN.com reports two Jet Skis collided in the area of 88th Street and Collins Avenue in Surfside, Florida, on July 3rd. According to the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), a man and a woman were riding their jet skis when the two personal watercrafts collided. Eyewitness Kelli Denis stated, “All of a sudden we see two jet skis flying across– like, really fast. And, they stopped,” Denis also said “And they were on the shore and we thought that they were stuck. So, my dad and my friend, Kevin, went over there to see if they were alright.”

Both riders were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. The woman was rushed to the trauma unit, while the man is reportedly in more stable condition. The FWC is currently investigating the crash and a report is pending.
