CNN travel reports Royal Caribbean’s cruise ship Brilliance of the Seas encountered high winds and rough seas while carrying 2000 passengers off the coast of Alexandria, Egypt. The storm resulted in nearly 30 passengers being injured, shattered glass and overturned furniture. The damage forced the closure of the vessel’s beauty salon, video arcade and discos for the remainder of the cruise. The cruise ship is expected to return Barcelona as scheduled.
